MC 2020.4 Bug: Cannot Select More Than One Clip

In an open bin, if you try to select more than one clip at a time, you cannot right-click them if you do so on the clip ICON or Color. It will only select the one clip you last click on (where your mouse hovers).

Workaround: Click on the NAME of the clip instead of the ICON, then your multiple clips will stay highlighted so you can right-click.

Workaround: Select all your clips, then hold down SHIFT and you can right click.

on my system, in frame view, it's the opposite:

clicking on the icon works, not so on the name...

no problem with the other views.

Same here. "Shift" is my workaround.

Re: MC 2020.4 Bug: Cannot Select More Than One Clip

I can can confirm that there is something weird going on with multiple selection + right click in 2020.4.

I also noticed that right clicking on the clip color doesn't open the color palette like it used to do. Now I have to use Ctrl + right click. Have you already reported this bug and opened a support ticket?

This has been reported to me by Avid it is a known, reported bug. The color palette is what we also experience. Hopefully, it's a simple fix for the next update. The workarounds make this managable.
