Avid Marquee Title Tool Bug with typing dots ...

    Hello guys,

I just have this issue with Marquee: If the font size is big, there is no problem but as soon as I reduce the font size, the dot's are somehow vanishing behind other letters, as you can see in the lower part of the screenshot.

Can someone help me with that?

    My current system:
2017 iMac Pro with Avid MC 2018.12.6

    Current System Specs:

iMac Pro (2017), 3Ghz Intel Xeon W, 64GB RAM 2666 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro Vega 64 16368 MB, macOS High Sierra

    Current Avid version:

Avid MC 2018.12.6 MC, Artist DNxIO

Have you tried re-typing in the smaller size? Are the full stops visible then?

AFAIK the Title Tool and Marquee are abandoned. Avid have moved onto (the abomination that is) Titler+.

Try adjusting the kerning and it should reappear.

    Bruno M:

Try adjusting the kerning and it should reappear.

And if you need to kern the space between individual characters (rather than kerning the whole word/line), put the cursor between the letters you want to adjust, and ALT+arrow key whichever way you want the character to go.
