    Gorky

Keith mentioned about the XDCam plugins, as it’s a Catalina release so you might need new ones.

For the Solo track issue, it’s in CIT QA right now and planned for the release (bug #MCDEV-12890).

Not yet. I saw a post on Facebook that says they think it'll be out on 27 April.

Apple provides the OS to developers 5 months before the public gets it (they even have workshops and a keynote). What we want Avid to do, is not sit on their ar$e.

Per Avid, they do not test major OS releases until after it is officially released.

I phrased that badly. As Dom says, Avid only tests the OS that is actually released to the public. I'm sure they appreciate your feedback, though.

Well... I hope 6 months after the public release is sufficient for Avid.

Is this release date going to change like every other date proposed?

I'm having a hard time taking this post seriously. Even if I consider this to be a fanboy post, it's laughable.

6.5 months after the official release and 10.5 months after the WWDC event is anything but good support from Avid.

of course, the fanboys will always defend the company for whatever reason. But the numbers speak for themselves and the slice of the pie for Avid is becoming smaller and smaller each day.

their arrogant attitude is what's the #1 issue. I find it very difficult to swallow that it takes this long (and still no official catalina compatible release btw) to release the product while the competitors are miles ahead of Avid.

what you are seeing here is the slow demise of Avid. Studio accounts keeping them alive but I wouldn't ve surprised if at one point those will just poof, vanish as well.

too bad because I used to love their software but I won't put up with this arrogant attitude.

not to mention after almost 2.5 months they still couldn't answer a simple question about Afterburner Compatibility. Pathetic.

Marianna's post above says it all. She can't even be bothered to look at the calendar.

"monday 4/30/2020 at 3:00 PM ET"

4/30 being a Thursday btw. This is how dysfunctional they are. And has anyone seen any apologetic posts from

them in regards to how long this update is taking them? It's like they have 1 software engineer that works 1 day a week. Part time.

Way out of line. Ad hominem attacks were uncalled for.

Arrogance? This is pretty surprising coming from an Apple user. Apple does not even offer support for their Pro products!

    $200 for a monitor stand?

I get it. Support for your new hardware is far behind than you would like. But calling other users name doesn't help.

BTW - how are Apple FCPX users doing with remote editing? LOL

you should ask that from an apple fcp user. Our facility uses mainly premiere for editorial and resolve for color. who cares how much a monitor stand is when majority of the people use vesa mounts? It's not like our hx-310's for $30+ grand were free.

if you hate apple so much why are you in the mac section btw?

but your response is very typical: when you can't beat the facts you start throwing around random nonsense.

everything I wrote above is true. I don't care what you think. Facts are facts and facts don't care about feelings.

Your response only proves my post right.
