Naming clips in bin - automatically jump to next clip to be renamed

    Hi,

I have just updated to MC2020 from MC2018.

The old behaviour when I renamed a clip and pressed return, was that it would automatically allow me to rename the next clip in the bin.

When I press return now, it does not do this. (But rather just deselects the current clip).

Is there a setting somewhere where I can revert to the previous behaviour?

    Thanks,

    JC

Re: Naming clips in bin - automatically jump to next clip to be renamed

It's strange, bceause now the system is behaving like I expect it to. (No idea why it changed it's behaviour.)

But it still seems to be bahaving in a really buggy way:

I notice I can now press 'tab' to edit a file name when I have a file selected in a bin.
    That's great.

If I press tab again it will make the next column of information/metadata editable.
    Great.

The problem is that it will sometimes (seeminly randomly) decided to stop editing metadata, and return to just having the file selected (with no metadata editable. ).

Same thing for the return key.

Every now and then it will just decide that I'm finished editing metadata, even though logic should dictate that it makes the next row of information editable.

Do you understand what I mean?!

Is anyone else having this buggy experience in their bin?!?

    Thanks,

    JC
