    Quadro GPU

Hi I just installed a P2000 quadro GPU on my Windows 10. I used to have a 1050 installed before.

How can I tell if the GPU is used? Is there a setting or an info display inside Media Composer that will validate if the GPU is used for realtime FX or render?

    Thanks and happy new year!

    Hi spyderrp7,

I'm not sure inside MC but you can check in Windows 10 via the task manager>performance tab.

    Re: Quadro GPU

After some searching I found it: When you're in MC, open the Console window from the Tools menu and type "acplgpueffects". This will tell you if GPU acceleration is enabled or disabled. It will also give the device name of your card, which will be useful when trying to modify the GPU text file.
