Optimizing Your Mac OS to Best Run MC

Hi Editors:

Searched entire internet and especially Avid Knowledge Base looking for MAC OS Tweaking info to best run MC. I came up with a big zero ! There is a plethora of readily available info for Pro Tools but nothing for MC (??) Can anyone direct me to any tweaking info to optimize my MAc OS to best run MC ?
