Snapping to head frames.... of just the selected track?

Is there a way to snap to the head frame of just the selected track?   Say I have V1 to V7 and A1 to A11 and I want to drag a segment in extract mode on V7 to the head frame of an earlier segment on V7.  If I hold down the command key while dragging, the dragged segment will hit every head frame on *all* tracks, which when zoomed out is hard to detect the head from of the segment on V7 that I want to land on, so I end up accidentally snapping to the head on V3.   So inconvenient.

There's an "ignore Track Selectors" checkbox in Composer Settings, but it only applies to the Go to Next/Previous commands, not to segment
