Re: Where can I download Titler Pro 7 Express?

    Titler Pro for Avid FAQ

Q: What’s happening to NewBlue Titler Pro?

A: As of June 20, 2019, Avid stopped offering NewBlue Titler Pro for Avid as part of a Media Composer Perpetual license, Media Composer subscription, and Media Composer | Ultimate subscription purchase.

On November 14th, 2019, existing Titler Pro for Avid licenses will stop working and installers will be removed from My Avid accounts.

    Q:  Why is this happening?

A:  Avid is no longer including NewBlue Titler Pro with Media Composer products. As part of our mutual agreement, existing NewBlue Titler Pro licenses will also cease to function.

    Q: Who does this effect?

A: Customers who purchased a Media Composer perpetual license, a Media Composer subscription, or a Media Composer | Ultimate subscription prior to June 20th, 2019, may have received a copy of NewBlue Titler Pro for Avid with their purchase.

Q:  What if I have a Media Composer Perpetual License that came with Titler Pro for Avid?

A:  Customers who have a Media Composer perpetual license can continue to use NewBlue Titler Pro for Avid until November 14th, 2019.  At that time, the license will be disabled (will cease to run). Installers will be removed from all accounts on November 14th, 2019.

Q:  What if I have a Media Composer subscription  license that came with Titler Pro for Avid?

A:  Customers who have a Media Composer or Media Composer | Ultimate subscription can continue to use NewBlue Titler Pro For Avid until November 14th, 2019, or the next time they renew their subscription in 2019, whichever comes second, at which time it will be disabled (will cease to run).

Installers will be removed from all accounts on November 14th, 2019.

Q:  When will I stop being able to use Titler Pro as part of my Media Composer perpetual license?

A:  Current Media Composer perpetual license owners can continue to use their version of Titler Pro for Avid up until November 14th, 2019 or the next time they renew their upgrade and support plan, whichever comes second. At that time the license will be deactivated and no longer work.

Q:  When will I stop being able to use Titler Pro as part of my Media Composer or Media Composer | Ultimate subscription?

A:  Current Media Composer subscription customers can continue to use their version of Titler Pro for Avid up until November 14th, 2019 or the next time they renew their subscription, whichever comes second. At that time the license will be deactivated and no longer work.

Q:  What do I do if I want to keep using NewBlue Titler Pro?

    A:  You have three options:

    1) You can upgrade/cross-grade to NewBlueFX’s full Titler Pro 7 software, which works with the latest versions of Media Composer. As a courtesy to all Media Composer users, NewBlue is offering $200 off the regular price for anyone who wants to upgrade. This discount offer expires November 14th, 2019. You can take advantage of this deal in the Special Offers page of your MyAvid account.

    2) You can purchase the Media Composer Production Pack, which includes NewBlue Amplify – a bundle of visual effects and Titler Pro 7.

    3) You can subscribe to TotalFX 360, NewBlueFX’s annual subscription plan for Titler Pro 7 plus over 177 effect and transition plugins with over 1500 presets.

Q:  What do I do about my existing NewBlue Titles?  Will they stop working?

A:  Avid and NewBlue will be providing existing users with a free version of NewBlue Titler Pro 7 Express. This will allow users to continue to utilize their existing Titler Pro titles, as well as create new titles based on existing templates (included with Titler Pro 7 Express.) Users who choose to purchase a full version of Titler Pro will be able to continue to use their existing titles. Titler Pro 7 Express will be provided via My Avid accounts and Media Composer installers on or before November 14th, 2019.

Q:  What about my NewBlue Titler Pro that didn’t come with my Media Composer license?

A:  Customers that purchased a copy of NewBlue Titler Pro – either as a separate purchase or as part of the Media Composer | Production Pack – will not be effected by this change.  They can continue to use their license of TItler Pro.

Q:  What do I do if I have further questions or concerns?

A:  Email Support@newblueinc.com for questions about your Titler Pro license or application.

Contact support@avid.com for questions about your Media Composer license or application.

I'm very sorry for any confusion, the version of Titler Pro Express on the page does not include support for Media Composer, it only works on some Magix NLEs.

Titler Pro 7 Express for Avid will be available shortly, and when it is released you should be able to download it through your Avid account.

I will make sure to post when it is available for download.

I'm very sorry Ken, Titler Pro 7 Express is not available yet. We're testing the final version now and it should be available soon. I'll be sure to past about it on this forum when it's ready to download.

    Hi Sergey,

Sorry for the delay, I know you and a lot of other users are waiting for this. We just want to make sure Titler Pro 7 Express is fully tested and ready to go before we release it. It shouldn't be much longer now and I'll post as soon as it's available.

    Just a quick update -

While the announced expiration date has passed "Titler Pro 5 for Avid" has not yet been deactivated and will not until Titler 7 Express is released.

We fully expect Titler 7 Express to be available this week.

If you can let us make new titles in Titler 7 Express--and get it to work with old titles--maybe users like me who purchased the TP7 Ultimate update would be okay.

Re: Where can I download Titler Pro 7 Express?

    Hi Marcus,

Any news on a release date for NB Titler 7 Express yet please?

Not best pleased (neither are our students) about the increasing gap between the old software being disabled and the solution for using current NB templates/titles being released.

It's been over two weeks now and still nothing showing in my Avid Master Account?

    Thanks, Mark

    Hello Mark,

I'm very sorry for the delay. My understanding is that Titler Pro 7 Express should be available for download by the end of the week.

Re: Where can I download Titler Pro 7 Express?

Had to reinastall all 3 edit stations just to realise that neither original Titler 7 Pro works, nor Express version is available... I am stuck with 2 projects. This is ridiculous. It should have been planned/resolved at least the way that existing customers (perpetual/subscription) are able to use 7 Pro until there is Express available. This is highly un-professional in my opinion.

It's supposed to be available in your My Avid account now. That said, I don't see it in mine, and I've asked Marianna & Raff for more information. At any rate, check your My Avid account:
