    Error: Audioexport_file_too_large

Hi All, I am trying to export a 3hr project that has been mixed down(both audio and video), and QT ref pop up an error: Audioexport_file_too_large. I have 50GB disc so I was hoping to put it on that disc after mastering. QT mov seems to be exporting fine(as I write) but would have preferred the QT ref.

    Any way to resolve this?

Do your QT Ref settings include a WAV export? That might go over its filesize limit?

    Re: Error: Audioexport_file_too_large

Avid should have a splash screen that says "AMA file export is better than any quicktime method"

I think we'd see 25% decrease in forum posts (including facebook) about video export issues.

The day I switched to AMA exporting I never had an issue again and stopped exporting quicktime from Media Composer completely.  It would also eliminate the need to mixdown!

And now that AME does ProRes, one can easily convert to prores after which should be fine.

ps: I give great advice, I should have moderator status by now.  Although I could improve my tone and arrogance ;)
