hello, on a long form documentary. the footage has been linked and then transcoded from a Panasonic AG-DVX200 camera to MXF175. I've been viewing and assembling for a few weeks, and have been applying a LUT to all footage on a bin by bin basis, basically using one of three LUT's, the Canon C-Log to rec 706, Vlog to 709 for DVX200, or Vlog to 709 for DVX 35. My footage is in my seperate location shoot bins, and I make a seperate bin for each locations' sequences. Yesterday whenever I'd edit a shot, the clip would land in the sequences timeline, the LUT would disappear, ie the shot would revert to flat in the rec monitor, and a copy of the original clip would appear in my sequence bin, with no LUT.
This is now happening in all my bins.
extrmely frustrating .... restart reboot all to no avail.
So far my system has been very stable, and I have not installed or updayed eny software.
Any help/ideas appreciated
Yo, let's get this done, and then go outside and play
So you applied the LUT as a CC effect and not "baked" in through source settings before the transcode.
So it's easy to re apply the LUT.

hello George,
no I applied the LUTs through the source setting window. then apply all
it's the, it worked before and now it won't that's a bother
I don't understand.
If you "baked" the LUT while transconding the transcoded clips (new media) will have the LUT as part of the new files.
The workflow was
link via AMA,transcode to DNX no LUT,
I'm applying the LUT per bin through Source Settings
what is happening is as soon as I splice a clip on a timelien,
1) the clip gets copied to my sequences bin, which I'd never seen before,
2) the clip looses it's LUT.
and if I try to match fram, it will match to the non LUT clip in the sequence bin and not to the clip in the footage bin I
edited it from.
I have never worked like that.
I have abandoned LUTs myself but when I did I treat them as CC effects, saved and used at clips
NOT at source settings which is for Linked clips not transcoded.
Try to refresh the adapters.
Save the LUTs and apply them to clips.
It's logical to match frame te original clips as the LUTs applied to source settings are not part of the clips.
