    "Who's calling this?!?!?" - my Avid has an attitude problem!

    I randomly get this strange error message when I'm parked on trying to edit an unrendered Pan and Zoom effect in MC 2018.1:


    I recall having seen this in previous versions when it would actually crash MC and I had to restart the application. Now I can just hit Continue and MC doesn't crash anymore, so at least there is less swearing now...

    The project type is 1080p/25

    Any ideas?

    MC 2018.1 Win 10

    In looks like it means a subroutine has been called to do a funtion but the subroutine wasn't expecting that.

    So sounds like a bug.

    To be honest Pan and Zoom have been critically broken for some years now and I won't and don't use it.

    I'd look at alternative options like frame flex.
