Hello all. I'm running Media Compsoer 8.8.3 on a 2010 MacPro with El Capitan 10.11.6. Getting some strangeness with a project that I'm working on. Some of my bins are sorting below the folders, in an odd alphabetical order. Basically anything starting with the letter J sorts below my folders as they currently exist (numbered, see image link). Everything from A to I sorted to the top, correctly. I tried moving the bins in new projects but it kept happening. Can anyone provide any insight into how this is happening? I want my bins to sort with all the bins at the top, like they usually do. Thanks so much.

This just happened to me.
Did you ever figure out what caused it?
For me it was simply that I had an alias folder inside my project. Just an accicdent. Removed the alias folder and problem went away.
Happening to me on 2018.5.0
Not seeing this in 2018.8. Have you tried deleting the MCState file and relaunching?

Hey yes I figured outt the issue. If I revealed the hidden files on my mac, there was an "?icon" file hidden in the root directory of my project. I think it came from when I shared the project to Dropbox, and it changed the icon of the project folder. Deleting that fixed the issue.
