    weird single/dual source-record monitor issue

    Hello peoples!

Maybe someone can help me. Whenever i open a project in my media composer it has by default only one big composer window. If i want the source/record monitor thing i have to chose the show dual monitor. If i close and re open the project its on the one big composer window again. I change it manual (show dual monitor option) and if i go to windows/workspace/source-record editing it snaps back to the one composer window.

Using a two monitor setup but this only started to happen when i started using AMC 8.4.2

After resizing the Source/Record Monitors, go to Windows->Workspace->Save Current.

I remember having a similar issue in some version of MC near where you are.

I would suggest creating a new user and seeing if that helps.

You could try the suggestions in this thread

Or possibly the reply by Corbimos in this thread

Both seem more Mac orientated but maybe it will help.

I follow the methods Andrew has shared and have not had the problem I mentioned above since beginning that method.

Hey, this is almost 10 years late, but I had the same problem today. I RIGHT clicked on the computer window and selected 'show dual monitor'
