Upgrading to MC8.2: what happens to 3rd party FX?

I am planning on upgrading to MC 8.2 from MC 6.04 mostly to get in under the $299 support 2015 wire. I recall that there was some upgrade issues with BCC, Sorenson and other 3rd party packages that used to be included.I spent some time researching it, but couldn't find a clear answer.

So, if I upgrade to MC8.2 can I use my current BCC 8.2 (Complete Version, Upgrade from BCC AVX) or will it be inoperable? Don't fancy paying the $ 599.00 for BCC v9 for a few extra plugins if I don't have to.

What about Sorenson Squeeze 8, Tiffen DfX v3, Avid FX (Boris Red), Mercalli ProDAD?

Your 3d party plugins, as long as they are 64 bit versions will work fine with 8.2.  They don't have to be reinstalled when you do the upgrade, but you will have to deactivate your MC license prior to uninstalling, and then install the full 8.2 version.

    Hope this helps,
