hebrew in subcap effect after upgrading to 8.2 and one more problem

    hi

    I have upgraded to the 8.2 ( i had 8.1 before). After i upgraded i had 2 major problems.

    1. Hebrew is an issue on avid mac for some time (like forever) so i cant use the title tool to create titles. However the sub cap generator was able to understand hebrew so i used it. Now with the 8.2 the sub cap doesn't understand hebrew and I'm stuck with no alternative in avid. So what seems to be the problem?

    2. In the 8.1 upgrade they introduced a new feature with when i select all the shot on my timeline in segment mode it does not mark the blacks between them. It worked fine but now on the 8.2 it crashes my system. So i needed to go back to the  option turned off. i think its a bug in the software.

I will be happy for some help please.

This is most likely a known bug that has already been escalated.

    a) if any kind of a 'none  English' character issued the rest of the line will be deleted,

    B) second line of subtitle will disappear

note: opening an old project will destroy the current subcaos.

You will have to download through the Video Download Center: esd.avid.com,
and there, choose Media Composer | Software, to find previous versions.

    Hope that helps
