    Transcode issue in Avid MC 8.1

    When my student attempts to transcode RED files this error comes up:

     

    Exception AMAProducerTask::Execute: AMA PLug-in Unable to Provide Sample.

    Now it hasn't done this with all the files - only 41 of them.  I have ditched MC settings, put the files in a new bin, repaired permissions and re-started the computer without any joy.

    Any advice - before I uninstall and re-install?  (I thought of trrying MC 8.2 )
