I read recently that these options are not currently avilable in MC8. I am about to start a documentary and need to at least use the script sync feature with the transcribed interviews. I found this invaluable the last time I did non-fiction work.

What are my options at this stage? Can I at least get an old version 7 trial with this feature for 30 days, in the hope that by the time this expires Avid and Nexidia have worked out a deal? Any other options?

You can use your v8 license and run v7.

Thanks Job. That would give me 30 days to get started. Or can script sync and phrasefind still be permanently activated in 7? (I don't own the licences at present)
