Meet the Avid iNEWS Developer Moderators 

The Avid iNEWS Developer forum has four employee moderators listed below, including Avid's Customer Advocate who are online to provide their knowledge and experiences, answer questions, provide advice and share their passion with community members from across the world.  

In this forum, these moderators share their considerable knowledge and experience with the developer community -- offering the best advice and direction possible on development of using API's. While the team may not have the answers to all your questions, our moderators are here to help in any way they can and provide access to Avid.  

Note that if this site grows as we expect it will, we may rely on customer moderators in the future to help us bring the latest and most important information directly to Avid. The moderators:

Rob Gonsalves (robg) - Rob is a Senior Consulting Engineer and Chief Architect for Avid Media Enterprise products and services. Rob has been with Avid since 1989, working on developing the Avid Media Composer as a software engineer. He specialized in programming video effects and color correction. In the Media Enterprise group, he led the development of the architecture for Interplay Central and Multi-Platform Distribution.  

Ed Grudzien (egrudzie) - Ed is a Consulting Engineer within the Interplay Media Enterprise team at Avid.  Ed is responsible for the iNEWS Server and all interfaces and communication APIs of the iNEWS Server.

Andre Milton (amilton) is a Principal Software Development Engineer with Interplay Common Playback Services team.  With over 20 years of experience building web based applications, Andre is adept at both Adobe Flash and HTML5 development and is primarily responsible for the client side players used by iNEWS and Interplay.

Marianna Montague (marianna) - Marianna is the Director of Communities for Avid, and is also known as the Customer Advocate. Marianna has two decades of experience with companies like Media 100, MicroNet, Apple Computer, and GCC Technologies in customer and technical services, service engineering and evangelism.  Marianna’s focus at Avid the last 8 years has ben to anticipate and provide for the needs of the customer/community and she is your advocate inside the walls of Avid, while funneling vital market data, feature requests, and customer information into Avid’s Customer Success, Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering organizations.  Marianna resides in Burlington Mass and Apollo Beach Florida.
