Hi there!

Is it possible to make only one word of the whole text line (within one subcap clip) in italic, bold, different font size, or different font?

It's pretty easy in Title Tool but I cannot find how to do that in SubCap effect.

I think font properties are global (i.e. you can get them down to the clip level but not within the clip, unfortunately.

Interestingly if you use <b> or <i> html tags within the master caption list then you can get bold or italic there temporarily... but not reflected in the captions themselves... and the tags removed when you next go back to edit the master caption list.

That's a shame. Avid should enable different fonts within one caption because often it's necessary to put some individual words in italic.

Is there still no solution for this problem in 2019?
