Can one directly connect acoustic drums via digital snake to DAW (pro Tools) ?

I have an X32 desk and S32 stage box (digital snake).

Is it possible to directly connect acoustic drums to DAW via the S32 (stage box) only i.e. miss out the X32 from the equation ?
