Hi Pat,
Just to make sure, you have to look under "Avid Editor Patches" rather than "Media Composer". When looking under the patches section you should see it (it was there when I looked a minute ago).

A REMINDER TO EVERYONE:
From now on, you must go to the main download center to access and download patch files. The patch download center is being retired and will soon be deactivated. After signing in to your account, from the link list click on "Avid Editor Patches".

No, that is not the case. After signing in to their master account, all customers will have access to the "Avid Editor Patches" link in the list whether they have a support contract or not. The patch files are still free. Customers without support contracts will not have access to other software downloads that are linked to in that list, only to patches. I hope that clarifies the situation.
Edit: nevermind, there was a problem with the download. it's fixed now.
