    Flat out awesome if it occurs.  It certainly gives new meaning to lower cost connection and high bandwidth.  Can't wait!

    Meaningless article, allowing for the other bottlenecks in a sysyem. Says 10gig in a decade or so. USB3 is here now, and has backwards compatability.

    Sounds like another Apple only standard to restrict access to Apple approved devices...

    Your fear on the apple restricted might be a real problem -and a good point, but with a new G-tech drive with Thunderbolt or a BOB could have significant implications for remote editing and file transfer.
