    Stabilizing in Media Composer

As have been asked by another user, I open up a new thread about this, the background discussion comes from that some old Liquid users still are using Liquid as an external filter when doing stabilizing, I have promised to show some of my own workflows from within Media Composer, surely there are other users wanting to jump into this thread telling about their own experiences.

Wil, as it is grey and boring weather outside, I might have the time to create a small tut this weekend, meanwhile, do some tests for yourself to get familiar with Avid stabilizer and BCC optical stabilizer, there might also already be some tutorials already created to look at and get some ideas about the workflow and other users might already have their own favourite tutorials and experiences.

Unedited, right out of the system , mumbling on bad english but at least I got it sharp and downloadable, this is one way of doing it, please ask me if there is something that needs to be clarified.

Thanks for that tutorial Tomas.  Wondering if you have tried Region Stabise on the two clips?  I get very good results with this tool.

Hi John, nice that you liked it, about the region stab, I used it in the beginning a couple of times but have found out that the workflow that I use currently is the one that suits my workflow best, I am not sure that the reg stab is using fluid stabilizer tech, might do a test some day but there are lots to test, I will probably be a newbee fro the rest of my life.
