Avid Export Transcoded Clips DNxHR UHD HQX 25p at 10%
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.As you will see at the short video the UHD timeline with many effects on the clips is going real time at proxy but it's fine. There is also a Safe Color Limiter on a filler for the whole short timeline, among others Now when T+ single 4 seconds kicks in the RT goes away.Someone will expect to use so much CPU power of the i5 12600K and can't go on.The reality is that at the exact point that T+ comes into place the CPU drops down. From what I have discovered from my tests of my new system (i5 12600K, 128G and Quadro P2000 which is the only thingthat holds the performance back) is that MC has the best distribution of the CPU, RAM and even GPU! from Premiere and notorius(?) Resolve. Only the T+ holds that back.T+ it's a plugin...
Let's hope future T+ will make the whole Avid experience even more solid.
Avid 2023.3 vs DR 18.5 DNxHR 444 MXF OP1a export time.
In both cases linked 12K BRAW files with an ARRI to REC709 LUT on every clip.
Export time is 7 hours for Avid while it's more than 1 day for DR 18.5.
On the same laptop.
