Let's all thank djfio for another time and for another excellent plugin. Blend X gives us blending modes in MC.
I don't know where I'd been in backups without his excellent MDV all of those years.
Thank you Djfio you are a legend.

I had high hopes for the new T+. And it let me down somehow. That was till recent versions.
It seems that T+ finds its way and the future looks awesome with the T+.
I always believe at the Avid team and they worked hard for what is coming.
I mean about everything but especially for the real working T+.
Congrats.
The upcoming Media Composer 2020.4 is a new break though in Avid's History.
Some years before many thought that Avid has lost its way regarding MC.
However and under the new leadership it goes on with high hopes.
Don't stay back. Go and update to it.
Even T+ its starting to work as it should. 2 things are missing mostly for me:
1. T+ needs somehow 1 window and not 2.
2. And H265 has been late. Many cameras having it already.
Happy Easter.
Tip for Internet exports (Win10):
1. For YouTube you can upload almost anything.
2 For FB you should use the new MOV export (without having QT install) and export anything at the list H264 (20 mbits, HQ is 6 and HQX 8) even DNxHD HXQ, Prores, AVC Intra etc. That means you will still have up to 100 200Mbps 10bit quality on MOV wrapper (which is Mpeg 4) and FB will still accept. No more need for an external encoder as of 2020.4. The best MC ever.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. No matter what MC 2020.12 is the best MC ever.Congratulations to the team.
Same to your George!

hi george,
are you sure you're not missing LIQUID 7 a little bit?
all the best to you as well.
cheers!
the time you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted time...
It was ahead of its time, RIP.
Using MC 22.12. Win 22H2 Avid FX6.4, Vegas Pro 20/ DVD Architect 6pro, DVDit6.4proHD, CCE Basic, TmpGe Express4, TmpGe Authoring Works 4, DVDLab-Studio. Sony EX-1R, Canon XH-A1, GL2, GL1, Canon EOS 60D
I don't know about anyone else, but I think that too much liquid over Christmas is just a headache.
Best wishes for the new year, George.
After 10 years I updated my system.
Avid is like a new champ here.
More to follow.
A "quick test" of more than 1000 DCI 4K linked clips with a CC and a Red Giant Look applied to each!
On a 1 hour and 20 minutes timeline!!!
10 layers.
Export as DCI 4K DNxHR HQX.
10bit playing almost RT while lower modes are RT!
P.S. I repeat linked not transcoded.
The only thing that makes MC slower by itself not by system settings is T+.Even a single one breaks RT...
A test of 2 hours timeline UHD export to DNxHR HQX with an Arri LUT and a simple CC. The fastest time almost half is on transcoded clips timeline on MC. However at linked Ppro wins at timeline scrubbing which is excellent while MC lags without any real reason. Linked files are of my S1H, 1 150mbit long gop avc intra 1 400mbit all I avc intra 1 6K avc intra and one 8k from my Xiaomi 10t pro at 100mbps (H265).
PPro Export DNxHR UHD HQX 25p
