Can this work?  Will Metafuze convert the Rev Pro mxf to Avid mxf?

Or is it something better done with MOG toboggan?

I am guessing that it doesn't work. Send me a small file and I will test it. You can download MetaFuze and test it yourself.

Just wondering: why would you need MetaFuze to handle these files? Isn't the MOG mxfSpeedRail rewrap solution working for you?

Being an educational facility, the MOG solution was deemed far too expensive for purchase in these times of wage freezes/budget cuts/layoffs and so on.  Their quotes for product and support were indeed, eyewateringly high.

GVG is going solo with their "Edius" line and is not interested in making nice with other players, I think, to their detriment. Frankly, some of us regret the purchase of their Infinity cameras. 

They have certainly become a huge impediment to a brisk, smooth workflow.

That there is no simple generic MXF rewrapper for bringing files into AVID is very sad.

I persist in searching and hoping.   Any help would be appreciated.
