Tutorial: Secondary Colour Correction in MC?

When I was in the process of migrating to MC I began to hear all sorts of rumours about whether or not it was possible to do secondary colour correction in MC without heavy investments in extra hardware.
I hope this Tutorial will help quell the worst of those rumours and show you how to begin trying to emulate secondary colour correction with the use of two basic FX found in MC.

    Good luck!

    Douglas

    Nice,

You can get a better effect if You using Spectra Mate and garbage controll. I do not know if You must use animate to do it because I have not worked much with Spectra Mate.

    Douglas,

I highly suggest you take a look at the BCC Color & Blurs effect Correct Selected. It is designed for secondary color correction, and IMHO, works pretty well. It has a pixel chooser, you can change the size of the matte, and many other features.

Thanks so much for all your fine work :) !

    Hi Matt,

Are you using Safari on the Mac as your browser? There's a known bug with video playback on our site. Try Firefox and let me know.

I didn't even think to try a different browser.  I was using Google Chrome on my PC, and I switched to IE8 to view the page and the video now plays fine.  Chrome uses the same Webkit rendering engine as Safari, so I guess that would be the problem.  Thanks for the advice.
