This may sound like a lame question, but I've found no way to quickly browse through font selections in either the standard titler or Marquee. I can't even keyboard up/down-arrow to step through the list of fonts to see the effect of each on high-lighted text.
What you others do? Do you simply know the fonts you want to use or is there some other trick to see the fonts before you actually apply them?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Hi Steve,
I use a software called "The Font Thiing"
http://www.download.com/The-Font-Thing/3000-2316_4-10038296.html
You can view in any font size and type in your own words to see how certain fonts look.
Good Luck!
I also was wondering about this problem awhile back, I just downloaded the programme that FMP uses and it's exactley what I needed.
thanks

Oops - won't install on my Vista 64 system. I'll bet there are alternatives...
Have you tried installing it in XP compatibility mode? Even without doing that it installs on my Vista Home laptop OK.
It's the 64 bit Vista that's the problem. Even in compatibility mode it is rejected. This is a known issue - did a bit of searching. Oh well - it was a good suggestion.

i like it, but i have no idea wether it runs in vista 64 ...
Thanks - seem to run fine in Vista 64.
MainType by High-Logic is Vista 64 Bit compatible. It's a full featured font management program and works quite nicely. It's only $49 and you can download a free trial version to make sure it's what you're looking for.
