Ok, so I'm onlining a show that needs to be output 720p.
My sources are 720p dvcprohd and SD DvCAM.
I originally tried to capture the show into a 720p 59.94 project, but I have no way of getting my SD footage into that project.
So now I've captured the whole show into a 1080i 59.94 project, and everything is working fine. Now, how can I convert it so I can output 720p 59.94?
I'm a bit confused on this because I've tried transcoding it in a 720p project, and the media transcodes, but the sequence will not open. I try to modify the sequence and it gives me an error. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
In your 1080i project, open the video output tool, click the HD tab. Set the HD crossconvert to 720p 5994.
Happy outputting!

Ok, I tried that and it was grayed out as OFF. Then I realized the SD convert was set to anamorphic.
I switched that to off and Voila.
Thanks because I was ready to jump off of the balcony.
As you discovered, you get cross or downconvert, not both at the same time.
