Accidentally linked MediaFiles, delete linked info

    Hello,

I was handed over a project for final exports and I have a lot of supposedly AMA Clips in it. But further inspection showed, that these clips are no AMA clips, seems like the editor accidentally linked one or more shooting days from the MediaFiles folder. Now they appear to be linked, but they are not. "Reveal file" leads to the MediaFiles.

If I chose Relink/Linked Media I can see the path to the MediaFiles folder.

Some of my exports I can't do because of the AMA files.

Relink/Unlink in every possible way didn't work, I can't get rid of the link information. Even just the Bin in a new project doesn't help.

Database, AMA Cache, Media Caches, all cleared, no chance.

Is there any information/cache in the project itself I could delete or rebuild?

    Thank you

    Doyle

Weird, as I was unaware that is even possible. Why not Consolidate those clips?

Well, consolidation actually works. I found a similar reddit post where consolidation failed, so I didn't even try. And I found it a bit risky to consolidate dailies for a final cut.

But it worked, even it's strange.

Somewhere the info for linking these files have to be.
