    Trial Versions is not starting

    Hello, I installed the 30 days trial version of MC. However, it only starts with MC First, which I was using previously. The trial appears in the link window, but cannot be selected What can I do? Regards Bernhard

    Hold the w key on your keyboard while MC launches. That will teigger the activation window, where you then get to pick the full MC trial version.

    Thank you for the reply. However, only the first version ever starts, and the trial option in the license window is not active. And in the link window, I see the trial version, but I can't select it.

    Can you still answer this question, please? I have the same problem: trying to activate the 30-day Ultimate trial before buying the annual subscription, but Avid Link shows up Ultimate Trial product greyed out and without a launch button. I have tried manually installing the 2025.6 version but it only shows up on the top of the product list, where of course I cannot launch it yet because I don't have a license yet.

    I am really interested in trying out the ScriptSync option (which I foolishly also bought already since I wasn't aware it was supposed to be included in the Ultimate Trial) so it would be helpful to somehow access this trial.

    I am on Windows 10 but am willing to upgrade to 11 if that's necessary for it to work.
