....just trying to get the limits of what is possible with Titler+ and perhaps a few simple MC tweaks....
....went looking at Davinci Resolve and its most excellent titler and the various presets for it....
....a survey of various presets and creating Titler+ versions of about 12 of them with Titler+ and MC....led to a count of how many DR presets might be done with the much simple Titler+ with a little help from MC....
....49....
....the folks at DR have an excellent product....but its also easy to see why AVID decided a good basic titler (that works! ....mostly) is better use of their time when titling products that are native plugins for AVID (eg. New Blue, Boris) are out there and they go way beyond anything any NLE has....why spend time chasing that tail?
(meanwhile, there is no better way to learn Titler+ than trying to recreate other titles with it....the masks in the Foreground section are huge for this exercise....DR uses them a lot)
...any files of these recreated titles will be posted for download....
note "Titler 3 Boxes", "Titler Box w Graphic" are new Titler+ files...not recreations)
....the finished set of Titler+ titles, fonts and projects....in all about 45 effects or seqs w fx.....
TITLER+ TESTING AND EXAMPLES.zip
...AVID media is included so the file is about 450m....
....enjoy....
just a few bugs fixed, etc....so its only the project...
TITLER+ TESTING AND EXAMPLES PROJECT 4-14-25.zip
...please alert to any issues....
This is great Robert! I'll review this later and hopefully we'll be able to introduce built-in templates in the near future.
...a final update version of the project to this little dive into titles....i am getting crosseyed and dreaming about them ...so, its time to stop...but here is the project...enjoy....

Great work Robert. I'll be happy to have your feedback on what worked well for you in the process and what didn't work.
If you are willing, you can either send me an email or post your thoughts on this forum. Much appriciated, Elad.
happy to do that...the first thought is how much care doing any animation calls for...
...download the project again...some changes were made to it after checking ...
....get to know the Crop Function in Foreground....(request...Crop with faded edges and independent for each item....)
....do not be afraid to stack your Titler files....
....example...to get video or an image in a title with an added Outline or Shadow.....that means three versions of the Titler File...Outline on top...Fill in the middle (step in....add a file to V1.2 track....than change Foreground/Fill Overlay to 100/Opacity to 100 and dial in Opacity later...) and the Shadow goes behind...but, to do that, you have to stack Titler files...Collapse is your friend once done...
....learn how to arrange your titles so they can be exported as whole collapsed images or videos with alpha transparency....they can be brought back in as whole elements with no work to get to that point in Titler....leave out the names and just use Titler+ for that....
...new project file with about a dozen new titles....and some fixes....
...and the Fonts folder here with 700 plus Fonts for your pleasure....these will be needed to read some of the Titler projects correctly....
Fonts.zip
Please alert to any issues or suggestions!....there are 60+ Titler projects and some of them may need some attention...
