Can you provide an estimated timeline for the release of the new Avid NEXIS version that will support macOS Sequoia, and what steps should users take in the meantime to ensure compatibility with their existing systems?
We released Avid NEXIS 25.3.0 as the first client to support Sequoia. You can find all details and specific instructions on how to uninstall/install the client in our docs:
https://resources.avid.com/SupportFiles/attach/AvidNEXIS/AvidNEXIS_2024_11_0_Client_Guide.pdf
So far, the biggest culprit of issues we have seen is that customers are not reading the instructions clearly and causing for the NEXIS client driver to be stuck, waiting to be approved by the Apple OS. Apple has added more security steps so don't be surprised if you have to approve the kernel extension a few times.

Can I just confirm, youre saying that there is now a valid Nexis Client manager for M4 Silicon Macs running Sequoia?
(ie: M4 MacMini?)
What is the minimum Nexis version this is compatible with please....
Yes, this is correct. You can find 25.3 MacOS client Compatible with Sequoia on M4's in your my.avid.com account (next to the latest full kit release). It support all built in adapters (incl. 10GbE), but the exteranal from Sonnet and Atto are still being qualifed.
Hi there, is there any update with 2025.3 being compatible with 10G network cards? I'm using a Mac Studio M3 with a 10G card and need to get Nexis working. Thank you
Hi, we have tested all built-in 10GbE Mac adapters to work with 25.3 (we added that support to the docs). Some external adapters are not qualified yet (e.g. Sonnet Twin 10g), but all built-in are fully supported.
Hi FreddyC,
Avid Nexis 25.3.0 client manager does not seem to exist on the Avid Download Center. Could you please clue us in to where we might find this elusive version.
Hi Luke,
Hello,
I just logged in to my.avid.com and I can see the 25.3.0 client in my active product. Do you have an active support contract?
