UPDATE: After working with Avid support, the solution was to reset all fonts back to Mac OS defaults. We had many hundreds of fonts inherited from decades of client supplied fonts. This solved the crashing problem. Now we're adding specific client fonts back, one at a time, to determine which 3rd party fonts are causing the issue.
Now I'm happy to report that the new Titler+ seems to work much better than any pervious versions. I have found a few specific fonts that were causing the crashes and have forwarded them on to Avid support to test.
I've been testing the new Titler+ and it's consistantly crashing when changing font or font style. The error message: Alert: "Segmentation fault" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0. I've been able to reproduce the crash multiple times. I have saved 3 separate Apple crash reports that I can provide.
Hi there, Would you like to send me an email at your earliest convenience? Let's troubleshoot this.
