Does anyone have any experience using MC and HP Wolf Security?
HP Wolf security runs on the system in my specs, and I've never had any trouble running Media Composer.

Thanks.
Hi,
While I do not know if Wolf security is the cause, we are having inconsistent issues with HP Z4G4 and G5 running windows 11 at one site where we are in the process of upgrading the Mediacentral + Media composer systems.
These systems are temporary using a dual boot (windows 10 + MC 2018.12.15 and a windows 11 + MC 2023.12.2 setup). While running absolutily fine and just performing a restart, windows is flagging a drive, can be either drive, as needing to perform a diskcheck. And the check often finds multiple corrupt files but the 'recovery process' actually corrupts either setup. If we cancel the diskcheck process before automatically running, things seem to remain fine.
Secondly we see that installing software can be extremely slow if the system does not have access to the internet. We disabled smartscreen but it seems a security feature in Windows 11 (maybe Wolf) wants to check something online and if it has no internet it will try for up to an hour before proceeding.
Trying to exclude variables we removed Wolf security but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I haven't had the time to use process monitor or wireshark to trace what might be going on. On windows 10 these system have been very stable... but on windows 11 with all updates applied they aren't.
We hope removing the windows 10 drives next week will stop the corruption issues. Time will tell.
