But can you slip the audio at a subframe level too? Can you add an edit within these new subframe boundaries in order to sync audio more accurately to other tracks or join up sounds more seamlessly? Otherwise this is only really useful for getting rid of clicks and pops.
And no, the source side subframe audio slipping is not the same as having it in the timeline. The source side audio slipping is basically useless for timeline work.
It's definitely welcome but I hope it gets added to to include more editing options.

When MC's Subframe Slip tool came out years ago, I had a similar reaction about using it for timeline work. I recall learning that any Slips I did, would not be included in a subsequent Group Clip / MultiGroup. I did however figure out that I could generate a bracketed set of Source subframe trims in 1/4 or finer increments... and save those FX icons to a dedicated bin. So, although it's not trimming as we know it, I can do my own Add-Edits and then drag & drop an audio subframe slip FX at will, to find a better edit. I posted a Gif anim demo of it: https://community.avid.com/forums/p/184946/860152.aspx#860152

At this stage it's just subframe automation, but it's a big step forward.
I spoke to the Product Designer and he mentioned timeline subframe audio editing is on the roadmap

Still waiting for Native Apple Silicon support, not transcript tool.
+1 on Native Silicon support. We're running on a few PCs and a few Mac M2 Max Studios. MC runs sooooo much slower and with crashes and glithces on the Macs, which are newer and cost a lot more than the PCs. We've pretty much stopped editing on the Mac systems until we get an MC update that fully supports Silicon systems.

Potential Bug Report: Marker Colors
I have a timeline with white markers created in v2023. Opened it in v2024.6 and did some changes in the cut. Opened the timeline in v2024.2 and all the white markers are now red.
Tested it with different timelines. Other timelines that have markers created in v2023 and were just opened in v2024.2 still have white markers.
Something wrong with the "translation" and grouping of new marker colors to old? It should still map to white since it is one of the original 8 colors.
