What version of MC are you on exactly and what version of Boris RED ( 5 ... 5.5 ).

For the record, folks, Boris RED is a dead porduct that has not been supported by Boris for years.   Why anyone would continue to use it is beyond explaining but avid shoudn't spend any time worrying about it.

Avid is around long enough to judge for themself what to worry about, or not. They don't need you for that. And nobody cares about what you think about using dead products.

I get plenty of usage from "Dead Products"eg Sorensen, Avid DVD, DVD Architect.

whatever...should AVID worry about supporting your "dead" products?

I dinstalled Boris Red 5.5 and reinstalled it, prolem remains.

Yes. If you read my reply above, things were getting unprofessional, so I locked the thread for a while to try and let cooler heads prevail. As long as everyone can play nicely together, I'll leave it unlocked.

Hi Roland,

Have you tried installing version 5.6? You can still download this from the Boris FX website. I'm not sure, but I believe that going from 5.5 to 5.6 was a free update.

You can find the RED 5.6 installer on the Boris FX website via Support/Downloads/Legacy Downloads. In the Product tab select RED and choose the Windows or Mac version. You have to log in before the download starts.

Let us know if this works.
