Change password in the console with capital letters

Making a script to automate the creation of users, I realized that when I create a user with utraits and the password I set has a capital letter when trying to log in later, it doesn't work.

Looking at the user with diddle u I see that the password is correct with its letter in capital letters, but the user cannot log in. If I force the password to be changed with utraits and put the user's password in all lowercase letters I have no problem.

The strange thing is that if I make the change from the inews graphical interface, the capital letters are taken without a problem.

    Any idea of the error?

    Thank you

Well, indeed, the version of inews that we are using is 2020.4.1, so I eat the bug with potatoes...

Thank you very much for the info, it was driving me crazy.

Update to MediaCentral | Newsroom Management 2023.7 (build 9.1.0.20) Ubuntu, and changing the password with a capital letter from the console doesn't work either, any other ideas?
