I've got an old Avid machine that is dying and I've pulled the Bins off it so I can, hopefully, still have access to the clips' timecode. Is there away to open those old bins outside of an Avid product?

Hi, 

No, you will need some Avid media composer system to read and understand those bins. 

Bins from even the first version of Avid should technically still open on the latest version... I am led to belive. 

Do you have a license to a newer media composer system? 

Thanks, Philip. I don't have a Media Composer license. I did find out Medica Composer First doesn't work with it, but upgraded that to a trial of the full version to get the info I need.
