Ive downloaded and installed Media Composer with electronic key and it won't launch.

Gives me EssentialResourceNotAvailableError

Brand new MacBook that was cleared for use with Media Composer.

Not sure what to do.

Hi, this is a known bug that they're working on, but I don't have an estimate on how long a solution will take. For now, try this:

Thanks but reinstalling without NDI did not work and the folder mentioned in the other solution doesn't exist.

However the following did work for me.

Remove the "OpenIO_NDI.acf" and "OpenIO_SRT.acf" from the AVX2 folder. Navigate to:

For macOS: Macintosh HD> Library> Application Support> Avid> AVX2_Plug-Ins

For Windows: C:> Program Files> Avid> Avid Media Composer> AVX2_Plug-Ins
