All I can find on Titler + online is how to make lower thirds. Can anyone point me to how I can make simple cards that say things like scene missing or to be shot etc and keep them in a bin to be used again and again ? This title tool is as confusing as Marquee tool from previous versions. Is there anyway to get the simple old Title Tool back into Avid. The legacy tools don't seem to work with 2022.4. Most of my stuff is really quite simple and I don't have the time or inclination to master this stuff. Am I the only one who is not fond of Titler +?

Is BlueTitler Plus free with Media composer or does it cost ?

Hi Gary,

There is no way to get the legacy title tool on a Mac running Catalina or any later OS. The downloadable package is for pre-Catalina systems.

You could try the subcap effect if you just need text on screen.

You are not the only one who feels this way about Titler+

You can also use the Time Code effect to make simple cards.  Use the last option - Text Note (or something like that).  That is my default for slates now.  Sad.
