Suddenly, I cannot import video. When I select a clip and click on it. Nothing happens. Was working fine yesterday. Now nothing, not even an error message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I need more info to help you troubleshoot this issue.
Where are you selecting your clip? In the source browser?
Do you mean "import" (Transcode) or "link" (UME/AMA direct link)?
What are your system specs? Which version of Media Composer are you running?
What is the source codec of the material you are trying to ingest?
Editing Movie Magic.

Based on this link and the fact that it was working recently, I think OS 12.3 might be your problem:

I would look into this! I would really advise against running an unsupported operating system.
Thanks so much. Actually managed to solve problem. Did a reinstall and everything is working fine now.
