Does anybody have Tipps how to sync Airpods to Media Composer.

With any kind of Bluetooth Headphones video and audio are not in sync. Are there settings where i could solve that or is it not possible to work in sync over bluetooth?

I have MC 2021.12 on a Macbook Pro 16 M1 Max.

A thread from 2014:

"Unfortunately this is a limitation of the CoreAudio manager. CoreAudio Manager cannot be used by two application at the same time. So when you use your BT headset it wil also use the CoreAudio driver the same time with Media Composer and it will give you the error message. Disabling the BT headset and using the conventional wired headset should resolve this"

I assume they're saying it's not possible at all to connect wireless headphones to Media Composer, but I understand you were able to, it's just not in sync with picture. How about patching some sort of a bluetooth device out of your I/O box headphone out (or your Mac's headphone output) and connecting that device to your headphones rather than direct to your computer?

You can start a support case via your salesforce portal; perhaps one of the support reps there might know of a way. 

Have you tried: Settings/Site/Desktop Play Delay

Bluetooth transmission have a built-in delay, especially if you are using BT previous to v5.0. Version 5, transmits twice as fast. If your device supports it, switching to Apt-X Low Latency mode is another option.

Would it help to set a Desktop Play Delay or are there other Settings in Avid which could help.

Does anybody have experience there?
