So I have several sequences that when I try to export, I get the warning "the sequence contains offline media. Continue exporting or abort?"

I place that sequence in a bin by itself, select "show reference clips" in set bin display, then "select offline items."

None of the reference clips are highlighted as offline...only the sequence!

I've exported the sequence and don't see any issues....but this is alarming! Any thoughts or ideas?

What version are you running? I think this was a bug in 2021.9, and you can safely click 'Continue' and the sequence will export normally. I upgraded to 2021.12 yesterday and haven't seen the warning again.

Thanks for the tip! I just updated to 2021.12 and don't get the false alarm from that sequence any more.
