    AVID LINK NOT SYNCING ACCOUNT

    Can't upgrade because avid link is stuck in synchronizing account.  Read some previous posts about task manager and stoped it, but re booted still not synching.    Help would be appreciated

    Hi,

    The first thing to try is logging all the way out of Avid Link and then logging back in. If that doesn't work, send an email to Chris Bove at Avid (chris.bove@avid.com). He is the community manager, and can help point you in the right direction.

    Hi, Right click on Avid Link in your tray and hit sign out, then sign in again. Another thing you could try is manually entering your system ID. Go to the Media Composer drop down and hit License. 

    On another note, I was getting this error a few hours ago - it could be the link servers.

    maybe their server are stuck - will try and to sign out and go back in, but I  already did that - googled some info and also went into tak manager .

    It could be as I say a server thing.

    OK - thanks.  I will check it tomorrow.  I am perfectly happy with 2021.5 - maybe I won't even bother to upgrade with the absence of phone support;  I worry about upgrades.  Plus my system does what I need  and I have a project that I am now shoioting so it will be ready for editing in two or three weeks.  Might hold off on upgrtade. Not usre

    FYI avid link now working so you were right with server issue.  Very tempted to upgrade.  Having to hold myself back from doing it.
