I am well aware of the fact that I cannot complain now that something is not working in Win11 but if it detects something it will be a message for Avid support. As I wrote so far, everything is OK.
For me, Avid is a hobby, I only edit videos for my own use and I'm not scared of the prospect that something will not work, besides, I have full backups and can go back to Win10 in 10 minutes.
Finally, a general remark. For me, Win11 is a cosmetic change, an evolution, not a revolution, I don't see any change in performance, it's a bit nicer.

ZFigas:I don't understand, it seems to be my business. The problem was reported in Win10 and has just been confirmed. I wrote that in Win11 it appears in the same form. I did not encourage the switch to Win11, although I found that I did not notice any problems other than with workspaces. Am I doing something inappropriate? Will going back to Win10 fix my workspaces problem?
I think you explained yourself and your situation perfectly, and aren't doing anything wrong.

Thanks, this is fun for me.
Philip Kapadia: Why do some editors have this immediate urge to upgrade the moment there is an update? Slow down, Read the what's new doc, do some research :) I would seriously consider downgrading back to Win 10, Avid won't support it for some time, i'm sure.

I agree when it comes to systems being used for work, but in Zbigniew's situation I think it's fine to play around if that's what you want to do.
HI Philip,
thanks, I will wait for workspaces problems to be solved and let you know about my further experience with Win11.
My MC 2021.9 works under Win11 without any problems.

I'm afraid I found the first bug on the Avid 2021.9 -> Windows 11 line.Export to HEVC is not functioning properly.Windows 11 has HEVC's default player, requires purchase from Microsoft Store (about 1 U $). If I am trying to play an exported clip with this player, there is no audio. If I play MPC-HC, I get the following message:

Try playing your exported HEVC by linking it back into MC just to see if it plays correctly with its audio.

You're right, I imported HEVC clip to MC and I have audio. Please see the message if I am trying to play the clip in MPC-HC:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/sg0gjgx9shbfnd2/Windows%2011%20export%20HEVC.docx?dl=0It is information for support.Of course, I can handle it because I export the clip as mov with ProRes codec and next by TmpGenc to HEVC.
My workspace is a total mess after updating to MC 2021.9 on win 10 pro, looks like reverting to the previous version is the way to go... wiondering if this is all we get in return for another price increase!

2021.9 is a very buggy version (in my experience)
Why not update to something like 2021.3?
In Avid's defence, Video is the hardest thing a personal computer can do. Media Composer is a huge application. If you do a dramatic interface change like Avid has done, there are bound to be bugs and problems.
I just downgraded to 2021.6 (downloaded from an external source) and my workspace was a little less messed up but as soon as I switch to another layout (edit to custom preset for example) I got error codes non stop. Odly enough I only have 2021.9 in my account, previous versions are gone, and even in the download section of Avid they show 2020.12.3 as the previous version, nice job Avid... the more we pay the more they screw up imho...

The download center is a tiny bit messy, I don't think the versions of MC are ordered correctly, but I was still able to find 2021.6 and 2021.3 - I just had to scroll down a little. Never download MC from an external source.
Here are direct links to those versions from Avid's download center:
2021.6
2021.3
Thank you for the links Philip, unfortunately things are going from bad to worse. As I could'nt uninstall 2021.6 I used a 3rd party program to force uninstal. I also removed registery entries etc. But now no matter what version I'm trying to install I get the following error message... even though MC is not installed...
