Hey, everyone!

Currently trying to import WAV files into Avid, but I get this error:

An unexpected error occurred while importing the Quicktime Audio Tracks. The Imported audio tracks may be unusable. Would you like to continue the import?

They will AMA link perfectly fine, but it looks like Avid is translating them as video tracks. I'd love to be able to direct import so as to retain any metadata along the way (unless transcoding these will be fine for onlining further down the line) and ease of syncing with video.

My specs are:

Mac: macOS Mojave 10.14.6
Avid: 2018.12.15
Audio: WAV file (WaveAiff Plug-in)
QuickTime 7: 7.6.6
QuickTime Player: 10.5
