Hi all,
I'm on a remote windows MC 2018.12.1 and I am getting warnings about clips being the wrong sample rate.
I have set the bin disply to ref clips and tracked down 10 out of 13 of the little rascals but the last 3 are proving elusive.
I suspect they are mixed in with some grouped clips.
Can anyone think of a simple way to find them in a very busy timeline so I can fix them?
cheers all
Media Tool. Also check rendered effects.
My bad, I should have mentioned that in my previous post...
It's a big project with multiple projects and tons of shared media across dizens of nexus shares...
I will have a look but I think that mat take some time...
thanks for the help

What prompts the warnings? Can you use that along with "divide & conquer" to locate the final three?

From the timeline Fast menu you can turn on Clip Text - Resolution. That should give you the sample rate and bit depth on every audio clip. Then use the search box on the timeline to search for the most possible 'wrong' sample rates like 22kHz, 44,1kHz etc.You might have to change a search setting to search wider than clip name. Maybe right click the search field?

That seems like a lot of work, whereas MC will also show a different color of waveform for non-matching Sample Rates. Plus: it won't help you track down rendered effects, which also may live in 44.1k.

Should be doable.
Also, was there a pattern based on previous removed clips? A date range, a particular user, etc...? I dont know nuthin about nexus but could the fix be a matter of rebuilding databases if that's available?
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I think a combo of your suggestions is the way to go.
Divide and conquer is sensible, the show is in 5 parts, which helps.
Clip text is also a smart move.
I am also trying to track down an elusive bin of 'grouped clips' which I suspect may be where the little suckers...(as I mentioned...more than 14 projects, a dozen different editors and more than 12 edit assistants...it's a bit messy...)
Someone asked how I noticed the error.
I was watching back a chunk of show and had lipsync issues. I'm working remote using HP RGS and couldn't decideif it was an Avid issue or a remote operation issue, so I opened the console to see if anything was remiss.
Console flagged up the 13 clips with the wrong sample rates and warned of sync issues.Annoyingly, the console tells you it can see clips with wrong sample rates but doesn't actually tell you which ones!
A bit like being told by a waiter "you're table is ready" and then just walking away and leaving you to find it for yourself...
Ah well
Thanks to all for the suggestions
