Export bin of sequence names to a spreadsheet

    Hi all,

I've read various posts about things like this but not quite what I need to do today. I have lots of labelled sequences organised into bins by subject and what I want to do is get the names, and ideally the durations, into a spreadsheet.

TAB would do with clips, is there a workaround for sequences?

    Cheers,

    Ollie

Thanks Pat, yes PDF kind of works but ideally want to manipulate the data so not ideal.

Should ALE work with sequences? I'm on 2020.10,it gives me the error - No masterclips or subclips selected or found - export aborted.

There is a Console Command that is called CheckSequences,

which generates a list (of sorts*) but I have no idea what it actually checks for, or does,  so procced at your own risk... using duplicate sequences only in a lone, open bin. Perhaps you know how to strip away all that extra verbiage....

    checksequences

    Checking mob () "OTHER".

    Checking mob () "Clipboard Contents.01".

    Checking mob () "ONE".

    Done.

Re: Export bin of sequence names to a spreadsheet

Ah that's pretty cool! I'll see if I can get rid of all of the verbiage. Yeah it works well, it does all the sequences in any open bins.

According to some old forum posts it's checking for errors in the sequence but not sure what can kind...
