I would first like to note that I am using Avid First, not the full version.
I have a video file that was supposed to be imported but avid wouldn't allow me to import it (it said the file format was not supported) so i linked it instead. Now the video footage is glitchy and I can't figure out how to fix it. The format is supposed to be in 1080p/25 but it is currently in 2160p/25.
I've searched through a few other posts on here about glitchy video and I've noticed a few answers saying stuff about refreshing the sequence but this option is not available to me (it is greyed out).
Any help on fixing the glitchy video or allowing me to import the video is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi, you've posted in the area for forum questions instead of Media Composer | First questions.

It may be that your system is not fast enough to play back the linked clip, or your drives may not be fast enough. Either way, try transcoding it to a DNx resolution and see if playback improves.
